1. Why should the employer call us?

We are attempting to help the unemployed and under-employed in the community to be productive people to stand on their own. This will help the employer to fill a position and get his/her work done and help the employee establish their self-esteem and pride in being able to provide for themselves and their family

2. How we will be of service:
Provide long-term employees and short-term/temporary employees

3. How we will help the employee:
Resume (assistance/guidance)
Personal mentoring and guiding by:
a. Helping them get their family affairs back on an even footing (food/clothing/furniture)
b. Advising them to other agencies or assistance groups that can help them
c. Advising them in further skill training/education (GED, etc.)
d. Retention Training
e. Job Fairs
f. Small Business Council

4. How can employers help Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM)? Call when there is an employment opening
Inform us what skill set they need help filling
Give feedback on the staff we have sent them (good and bad)
Tell us if critical training in certain areas are necessary
At times, may need to take a risk with a person (criminal record)
Meet with CAM quarterly/sem-annually for feedback/status
Participate in the Small Business Council
